Management is said to be "lonely. At the same time, they are also exposed to temptations that come with having a certain amount of authority. The Bible, the world's bestseller, describes a scene in which Jesus Christ meets Satan's challenge in the wilderness.

The three temptations from Satan can be said to appeal to universal human desires. Specifically, they are the following desires.

1) Material desire

Satan asked Jesus to turn stones into bread. This appeals to the basic human desire of hunger.

2) Desire for safety and security

Satan asked Jesus to jump off the top of the Temple to confirm God's protection. This is a desire to escape danger and insecurity by relying on God. and insecurity.

3) Desire for power and prestige

Satan asked Jesus to worship him in order to rule over the nations of the world. This appeals to the human desire for glory and domination. This appeals to the human desire for glory and domination.

Thus, the three temptations from Satan appealed to universal human desires. However, Jesus rejected all temptations and refuted Satan by quoting from the Old Testament. From this scene, I would like to give three hints for modern business managers to protect themselves from "temptation”.

1) Have faith

It is important to have faith in your vision and mission and not give in to various temptations and difficulties.

2) Observe moderation

It is important to maintain moderation and make ethical decisions without being influenced by the desires of oneself or others.

3) Maintain modesty

We should not be attached to our status or prestige, but should maintain humility and aim to contribute to society and people.
