On the morning of April 13, a TV program introduced a little 6-year-old mountaineer named "Rei Banno", also known as "Rachel". She is a powerful girl who climbed the 100 most famous mountains in Yamanashi in only 9 months after deciding to do so. For her, mountains are the best playground, and she says that "mountains are parks" and "rocks are jungle gyms.
She started mountaineering when her mother Naomi took her to a mountain climbing event. She said that about half of the 100 peaks she has climbed have been not only by the two of them but also by people who accompany her, and it is their challenge and the way she enjoys it with sincere pleasure that attracts people to her.
It is said that "performance" is determined by "what" and "with what feeling," but I think another important factor is "with whom. In some cases, you may be alone in your practice, but in order to continue, you will need the cooperation of those around you.
When I put it into my own life, I am truly worthy of respect, not age. Like her, I hope to be a person who brings a chain of smiles to the people I work with while improving team performance, and I hope to be a person who can enjoy the thrill of excitement without losing my "childlike spirit," no matter how old I get.
