What does it mean to create a workplace where you feel "not alone"? I think of it as building a team.
A group with common characteristics and attributes is a "group," and a "team" is a group that works together for the same purpose.
One of the key words of the 2023 Yamada Shuji is "From Group to Team! is "From Group to Team! It is to create a workplace where people can feel that they are not alone. The ideal team is a state of low anxiety (stress and insecurity) and high presence (positive feelings and confidence) in the workplace.
In reality, however, we do not do anything special. The basics are "greetings," "tidying up," and "time and information management. We emphasize the importance of doing these three obvious things properly, without making a fool of ourselves. It's important to do even common tasks well.
And we will educate them repeatedly over time until they become part of the YAMADA culture. We believe that by doing so, we will become a "team" that continues to work together with our colleagues and move closer to the realization of a workplace where people can feel that they are not alone.
